IDEAS Roundtables Program
The IDEAS Roundtables Program is designed to provide a dynamic and structured space for Next-Gen IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Social Justice) leaders to come together, thoughtfully process challenges and opportunities, and support one another. These groups:

-
Are facilitated by IDEAS Generation facilitators to ensure productive dialogue
-
Are specially curated to make interactions personal, intimate, psychologically safe, and valuable
-
Meet virtually every other week for two-hour sessions
-
Will run from April-July
-
Have had massively successful results - see the video reviews below!

This Roundtables session will have several cohorts and time slots available! This means more capacity (we maxed out last semester) and also more specific content that had been requested by past participants. You spoke, and we listened!
The Roundtables Program will include practice workshopping IDEAS issues as well as a Hack-a-thon with a mission-based client organization at the end. Cohorts will be curated based on availability, prior experience advancing IDEAS values, and stated goals of applicants.

Program Launch: Tuesday, April 19th and Wednesday, April 20th from 12-2pm Eastern, 9-11am Pacific
Cohort First Sessions: Week of Monday, April 25th

All meeting days and times starting the week of April 25th to be determined based on participant availability provided by the participant in the application.

#GOALS OF THE ROUNDTABLES PROGRAM
Our Roundtables Program is intended to simultaneously build a community of practice and support during these unprecedented times and provide a space for collaboration to collectively advance social change grounded in IDEAS by:
-
Fostering connection and community so that practitioners who are otherwise isolated in their day-to-day work have a support network and place to recharge emotionally with professional and generational peers
-
Creating opportunities to generate insights about how to utilize these times of social distancing as turning points for new possibilities in workplaces and communities
-
Providing space for sharing/exchanging your work with peers to elevate new voices and perspectives in the IDEAS field
-
Workshopping real-world challenges with the group for feedback and input, and in so doing, to co-create innovative ideas and approaches
-
Culminating in ‘IDEAS hack-a-thons’ wherein next-gen led organizations present cohort members with timely IDEAS-challenges as mini-case competitions to apply learnings while driving social impact
